Today, on out 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be test fitting the Draw Tite ball mount with a 3/4 inch rise or two inch drop, rated a 7,500 pounds, part number 2923. Before we begin our test fit, we'll first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. We'll get a measurement of about 13 and 1/4 inches. Keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or other after market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount in the drop position into the opening of the hitch. We'll insert the pin and clip to secure the ball mount to the vehicle. We'll now measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform getting a measurement of about 11 and 1/4 inches. more

Today on our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be test fitting the Curt Tri ball mount for two inch hitches, part number C45001. Before we begin our test fit, we'll first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height for this vehicle is about 14 inches. Keep in mind this measurement may very due to tire size, hitch style, or other after market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount in the opening of the hitch and securing it with a pin and clip. This ball mount is a great way to tow different trailers with different size couplers. It has a 2 5/16 inch ball, a 1 7/8 inch ball, and a two inch ball. This is a great way to tow multiple trailers without additional ball mounts. Andersen Rapid Hitch Ball Mount Review - 2013 Dodge Durango- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Durango will be test fitting Part Number AM3410, this is the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount Kit with Two Chrome Ball. This ball mount is capable of towing up to 10,000 pounds with a maximum drop distance of 5-1/2 inches or a maximum rise of 6 inches. The ball mount will adjust in one inch increments between those two measurements. We'll now go ahead and slide the shank of our ball mounted to the hitch, line up our hitch pinhole and install our hitch pin. We can then put the clip on the other side of the pin, securing the ball mount to the vehicle. In the full drop position, our ball is sitting 9 inches from the ground. more

Draw-Tite Ball Mount Review - 2013 Dodge Durango- Video
Today, on our 2013 Dodge Durango will be test fitting the Draw Tite Ball Mount, 3-1/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop, Rated at 6,000 pounds, Part Number 2923. Now, before we test fit our ball, we want to get our hitch height measurement. To obtain this measurement, we'll measure from the ground to the top of the receiver tube opening. In this case that measurement is 14-3/4 inches. Now, keep in mind that measurement can change due to tire size, hitch style or any other accessory that may change your vehicle's right height, so it's a good idea to measure your own. Today on our 2013 Dodge Durango well be test fitting the Convert A Ball Cushion Ball Mount for two inch hitches with two and three quarter inch rise or four inch drop, rated at 10,000 pounds, part number amsc4. Now before installing the ball mount into the hitch well first need to get our hitch height measurement. To obtain this measurement well measure from the ground to the top of the receiver tube opening, in this case that measurement is 14.75 inches. Now keep in mind that measurement can change due to tire size, hitch style, or any other accessory that may change your vehicles ride height. Its a good idea to measure your own.
